I first started learning ballet with her in Novenber 2007. She teaches at Canberra Festival Ballet School. She is good at ballet and teaches me alot. We got to do a performance with the things that she has taught us.

She looks pretty when she does ballet. I have a lesson with her once a week. Her studio is close to home.

I went again to perform at the Playhouse. This time mummy, daddy and grandpa were watching. Like the first performance my mummy did my makeup for me. We started at 4.45 and it took until 5.30.

For the performance when it was time to go on we all waited for a little while on the right side of the stage while the bigger kids permformed. We waited for just like one minute. It was mostly dark, and I was sort of scared. When I was waiting I could see orange and blue lights on the roof of the stage.

This time I wasn’t nervous. I was happy and excited as I was waiting. I listened to the music so that I know when to go on stage, I also watch a little bit. We went on stage and I was leading my group as we all did walk and point.

When I was on stage I saw in the crowd my grandpa and I think my mummy’s glasses. The crowd nearly filled the theatre. It felt weird having all the people watching me but it was fun and I want to do it again.

The dress I was wearing made me a little bit itchy under my arms. After the dance we went back into the green room to wait to go out on stage again for the curtain call. That means I go and do a curtsey to the crowd to say thank you for watching.

We went back to the green room again to get changed, then got ready to go home. I had my mummy and daddy pick me up around 9.27 and I also saw grandpa. Grandpa said my makeup looks pretty and he said I looked good doing my dance.

We went home and it was cold, the car said it was 7 degrees outside. We got home and I had a shower to wash off my makeup and wash my hair to get out all the hairspray.

I can’t wait until next year to do another ballet performance. I love doing ballet and ballet performances.

Yesterday I did a performance I was nervous . Now I am not nervous any more . It is fun .

My mummy started to do my make up at 4.30 I needed vitamin e cream /moisturizer, foundation to match skin tone, loose powder to cover foundation, black waterproof mascara, black liquid eye liner, white liquid eye liner, brown eyebrown pencil, white/ivory eye shadow, blusher, lipstickand lip liner pencil to match lipstick.

We performed at the Canberra Playhouse. We performed Napoli. I went to the Playhouse at 6pm to get ready. I went into the “green room” to change into my performance dress. I then had to wait a little while, then I went on stage and performed.

It was weird, I was doing walk and point and l was leading my group. I also got to perform a special position and then we all danced together. I was on stage for a few minutes. I had a pretty pink ribbon in my hair.

I went back to the hallway and waited a while before getting changed in the green room. I packed my bag and then I was reading my book before being picked up by mummy and daddy to go home.

I have another performance tonight and mummy and daddy and grandpa are going to watch it.
